Room

An industrial-chic dining environment that honors the building's mechanical heritage — where rugged and refined compete for attention, equally.

"The building had decades of stories pressed into its steel. Our job was to let them breathe."

The Engine Room occupies a former industrial warehouse whose bones demanded to be respected. Rather than smooth over the history, the design leans into it — exposing original cast-iron columns, preserving the worn concrete floors, and letting the ceiling's tangle of ducts and beams become the room's most arresting feature.

Reclaimed timber from a demolished mill warms the raw shell, while amber pendant clusters echo the glow of an old forge. The result is a dining room that feels earned — as though it was always here, waiting to be uncovered.
